機能変更：最大250人までのグループチャット（5月中旬予定）

We’re increasing the maximum chat size from 100 to 250 in response to customer requests.

When this will happen

We will be rolling this out to from early May to mid-May.

How this affects your organization

Private chats in your tenant will be able accommodate up to 250 people. 

If a user has more than 20 people in a chat, the following chat features are turned off: Outlook automatic replies and Teams status messages; typing indicator; video and audio calling; sharing; and read receipts.

What you need to do to prepare

You might want to update your user documentation and training. 

• It is not possible to customize the chat size limit; however, if you feel that you need to turn off chat you can do so in the Teams messaging policies.
• This does not affect the maximum limit (20) for the number of people in a video or audio call.
• This does not affect the maximum limit (10) for file attachments.
